Three Ghost Stories
A 35-minute-long work for flute, cello, clarinet, electric guitar, synthesiser, percussion and narrator, commissioned for WarszeMuzik festival 2025. The piece follows fictional and real stories of my family members on their journeys, across Poland, across the sea to Palestine, and to various tragic endings. Merging fact and fiction, contemporary music, rock, and klezmer, the piece pushes against the political boundaries of national memory.

The composition was the featured commission of WarszeMuzik and was performed in the courtyard of tenements houses where Jews lived before the holocaust. It was co-financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund – a Polish state earmarked fund, as part of the "Composition Commissions" program, implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance.
